Cosmetic Dentistry

Not everyone has perfectly white teeth by nature. Therefore, there are means avaible to make them look whiter.

Teeth change color over the years. Food, drinks and seasoning leave marks and stain teeth from the outside. But teeth can also change color from the inside, and darken with time.

Whitening (Bleaching)

Teeth can be whitened to give them a young and healthy look. You can choose either to lighten them progressively yourself at home, or achieve the desired end result in one session. In our consultancy we offer you the possibility of choosing only those teeth you wish to whiten. The ideal way is to whiten them after a previous dental cleaning, because in this way it is easier to recognize the basic color. We will gladly clear all your doubts and enquiries.

  Veneers

By putting a thin layer of porcelain over the teeth, we can change their shape and color without removing to much healthy tooth structure. Very often the lateral incisors are smaller. With veneers the dental units need not be reduced to put crowns; only the outside surface will be reduced a little bit to make them look like new.

Amalgam-fillings

Many patients complain of headaches and other problems related to amalgams. Others are simply bothered by the dark color of the fillings. We offer the possibility of exchanging the amalgams by different alternatives: fillings with composite material, ceramic inlays and crowns. We will gladly give you information about the different options.

Metalfree Restorations

The word allergy is in everyone`s mouth – and never more appropriately. Many patients suffer sensitivity against metal alloys in their mouths. We can carry out an allergy test ( bioenergetic- test : painless, no side-effects).

Ceramic material is biocompatible by excellence. Apart from the well-known ceramic inlays, we can offer you full ceramic crowns and bridges. The zirconite oxide ceramic used is extremely hard and practically unbreakable. Also, the basic ceramic structure is translucent, which offers additional esthetic advantages, specially for crowns for front teeth. In contrast to metal crowns with an opaque ceramic cover, full-ceramic crowns will allow light to pass through (translucence), which are very similar to natural teeth. Furthermore, it avoids the darkening or “tattoo” of the surrounding gum by corrosion.
